New Zealand also needs to break out of the dark ages concerning CFS. All the years I was sick I had no dotocr diagnosis, even though I had seen about 15 different dotocrs. They would just give me painkillers, shrug their shoulders and look at me like I was a thorn in their side. I diagnosed myself from library books, and years later found a helpful dotocr who agreed.I have yet to come across a dotocr who will seriously look into my chemical sensitivity and sensitivity to environmental factors like heat, cold, light, sound etc.I do believe some other countries are miles ahead in treating and recognizing these things.Theda, your public fight for health will, I'm certain, help alot of people silently suffering from CFS to be listened to.
