Anytime one gives another drugs without a prescription thereby creating an unreasonable risk of death and as a consequence death thereafter results, most states -- if not all-- hold that the person providing the drugs can be charged with that person's death. Jermaine will always be a part of Michael Jackson legacy. He's part of the Jackson 5 group that will live forever and ever.

I was a close childhood friend to the Jackson 5 from 1967-1972. I started the first Harlem Jackson 5 Fan Club as President between 1967 & 1968. I still have a handwritten letters from Mr. Joseph Jackson. One letter in particular, Telling me that "I Want You Back" is getting big everywhere! I remember rounding up my Jackson Five Fan Club members, and myself calling all of the soul radio stations and CBS Ed Sullivan Show, and other variety shows of the 1960' & 1970's, requesting to hear and see the Jackson Five. I still have personal snap shots taken at the Essex Hotel, hours before the Jackson 5's first Ed Sullivan appearence where they sang "I Want You Back". I am still in shock and disbelief about Michael Jackson's murder. How horrible for Michael's children to have their father snatched away from them so very young. RIP Michael, I love you! May God comfort your children and family.
