Same ole same ole people getting awards that we've seen for years. Sure would like to see ordinary everyday heroes like Firemen (and women) good Police Officers, Paramedics etc. They save lives and help people but nobody seems to give a rat's ass if they have never starred in a film or some dumb Reality show!

Oh God don't we have enough movie stars and television stars getting accolades and adoration getting paid millions and loved by millions for acting in roles as somebody else. Did I miss people who are really doing something like saving lives on a daily basis? Here's a real life Hero. He's African American born to a single mom who was a maid who later learned to read and only finished grade school. Benjamin Solomon "Ben" Carson, Sr., M.D., (born September 18, 1951) is an American neurosurgeon and was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.His saved the life of conjoined European twins & many others. Now that's a real hero!
