What a lovely post and a great reimednr. My 2 year old dresses herself everyday, so we have gone shopping in fancy formal dresses and gone to the library in a Cinderella gown. I had always thought that I should let her dress to her taste b/c I just hate to burst her little bubble. Besides, when else can you wear a feather boa to the grocery store, if not when you are two?But, thanks for reminding me that I am also encouraging independence! Now, I'll work on letting go of the hair brushing thing!
